Me and Suzanne |

This is a picture of my wife and me. We have been married since Decemeber 31, 1994, and we continue to enjoy the married life. I'm originally from Kentucky. I lived in Florida from July 1996 to July 2000, and I now reside in Tennessee. For those of you wondering, I have an English degree from the University of Kentucky, so don't worry; I'll try not to lead you in the wrong direction when it comes to Shakespeare (not that I am the Shakespearean authority, but I'll give my all). I'm currently busy with my new job, doing some database work on the side, and visiting with family and friends. Someday I plan to add several plays to the small listing I have available. |
Kati |
|
![]() |
Kati was rescued from the pound. She's a Basenji/Chihuahua mix (I think. No one at the pound knew). While away from her alpha dog duties, Kati enjoys helping Suzanne make the bed. She seems to think that her part is jumping around on the bed. It's become a fun game for her, and an annoyance to Suzanne. Pictured here, she's ready to start "helping."

Ayla |

Ayla, a Spitz (American Eskimo Dog), was also rescued from the pound. She's somewhat shy around strangers, but she is nothing but lovable. Although she can be a little devil on occasion, she is generally an angel. Unlike Kati, Ayla is content to lay at your feet and be petted. She's also very intelligent, but because she is so hyperactive she can only be trained in short intervals away from all distractions (especially squirrels).

Merlin |

We adopted a cat from the Orlando Humane Society. His name is Merlin (as in the Wizard of Arthurian legend), and he is a Russian Blue mix. As you can see, Merlin fully recovered from his illness and is doing great! When he isn't chasing the dogs around the house or leaping at us, Merlin likes to lounge around the water dish. Here he is playing with the strings from a seat cushion.

Asher and Ginnie |
|
|
Puppy Shots: Adult Shots: |
Asher and Ginnie are brother and sister. They were abandoned in October 2000 on an access road close to my office. Asher was saved by one of our vendors seconds before a tractor-trailer almost ran him over (the vendor got out of his car and stopped the truck)! When I saw him, I had to take him home. The following day, Ginnie was found by one of our employees who was taking a walk. Someone else adopted her, but soon learned that it takes a lot of time to raise a puppy. Being the person I am and having an understanding wife, I brought Ginnie home to reunite her with her brother. Both are doing very well. Asher is currently 65-70 pounds and Ginnie is around 50-55 pounds. They are chow chow and Labrador retriever mixes. As you can see, Asher has more chow chow traits while Ginnie looks more like a lab. Both have blue tongues like a chow chow. |
